Our New Home

After moving the business to The Byre we had a clear home for the first time in 3 years! It was amazing and life seemed to become more organised along side the business.

The very last day which we moved the stock in we sat down for a cup of tea in our lovely new premises (Minus heating, surrounded by snow with no chairs or office furniture)

I turned to Mike and said "I'm so happy with the new premises and it will be lovely to enjoy our home with no boxes of stock piling up in the lounge, kitchen, bedroom.. I hope that we won't have to move home any time soon!"

We returned the van we had rented and traveled home exhausted.
The next day at 9am we had a phone call from the estate agents letting us know that the house which we rented (our home) was going to be for sale and we had roughly 6 weeks to move home.
I could not believe it! However there was no escaping the fact that we needed to find a new home, very fast.

We searched and searched and searched and searched, and then one chilly afternoon as I was replying to emails the most unique property popped up on Mikes computer.

We booked a viewing and within 48 hours we had managed to secure a beautiful converted stable block as our new home.

We moved in 3 weeks ago and we are absolutely in love the space and light, not to mention the wonderful features.
The property is perfect for us and we couldn't be happier.

I've posted some pictures below, the stable block still remains in the property and it really is a lovely space to live in.

Someone was not too happy about the move however...

Millie spent the first 2 days hiding in the wardrobe and then made it to a new base under the bed where she stayed for another day.

Of course after this shy start she soon began exploring.
She now LOVES the long corridor and runs and slides up and down daily.

We've just been included in the Not On The High Street Summer catalogue which landed on doorsteps this Monday.

It's going to be a busy few weeks of personalising and I'm also finalising Christmas designs and Trade products.

However knowing that we now have a peaceful, beautiful home to return to really is the icing on the cake!

We've just returned from Make Do Meet, Not On The High Street's annual event in London and I'll be sure to share pictures from the event soon,

Best Wishes
